Heading outside for some wintertime fun like sledding, throwing snowballs or ice skating can be a sure-fire cure for some kids, while there are many kids in rural regions of India who can’t enjoy the winter because they don’t have proper clothing for them to wear. They are from poor families and don’t even have a proper house for themselves to protect against winters. They can’t buy warm woolen clothes resulting in many diseases like Cold, RSV, Influenza, Pneumonia and much more. Kids exposed to extreme cold for too long and without warm, dry, breathable clothing can get frostbite or even life-threatening hypothermia. Kids are more at risk from the cold than adults. Because their bodies are smaller, they lose heat more quickly. Why can’t we really help them with donating a Hoodie and Lower to them, your support can help a child in rural India in this winter. We can provide them a hoodie and lower resulting in prevention from many diseases caused by winter. You can also take part in the yearly campaign of Digital Generation Sansthan’s #PehnaDoHoodies in this winter and can help the kids around you. We strongly believe that it is not the cold but the lack of clothing that kills people. It is an avoidable and preventable disaster. Alongside, this campaign is also helping the rural women of Ajmer, Rajasthan. The hoodies and tracksuits are manufactured by the rural women of Ajmer, Rajasthan. Digital Generation Sansthan runs various programs to teach free stitching skills to Rural Women of Ajmer, Rajasthan provide them employment, which help them to attain a good livelihood for themself. Women in Digital Generation Sansthan manufacture Customised T-Shirts, Hoodies, Masks, Aprons, Carry Bags, Caps, School Uniform, Hoodies, Track Suits and Laptop Bags. #PehnaDoHoodies campaign is helping both women and rural kids of India, the Hoodies manufactured by women will be donated to rural kids of India. This time our gift is for the winter season.
This Project will provide a Sustainable Livelihood to rural women to Ajmer, Rajasthan and also provide free hoodies to rural kids in India. You can order the Hoodies and Lower online and give to kids by your hands in your area else we also provide a free service of donating Hoodies to rural areas. After placing your order, we will donate the hoodie and lower to a needy kid with your name and will share the photos with you.
